It's a Boy!

We have had a great week in the Caruth Household. Found out last Wednesday Baby Caruth #2 is another health little boy! I think the profile ultrasound picture looks a lot like Cooper's did at that time. Will post another belly and ultrasound pic soon.

Swim lessons last Wednesday went a hundred times better. Jennon swam with him this time, and he also has a new teacher Miss Megan who he has been talking about all week. Only a few tears were shed and they quickly went away when Miss Megan said she might have seen some fish down in the bottom of the pool. At one point Cooper's entire body was submerged underwater so that seemed like a big step in the right direction. He actually cried this time when he had to get out of the pool!

We then left on Thursday for Denver to visit Amy and Danny. We tried to time the flight as close as we could around Cooper's nap. He unfortunately didn't fall asleep until the plane was landing. He did fantastic on both flights so that was a huge relief and we didn't even use all of the toys we brought along to keep him occupied. We had great weather and spent a lot of time at some parks and playing with new little friends. Cooper is still mentioning on a daily basis, "Dax, Marin, and Baby Grayson." It was a wonderful trip, and crazy to think the next time we all go to visit there will be one more addition to our family, and one more to Amy and Danny's! Amy was great about taking pictures so will make sure to add some as soon as get them from her.

We are thrilled to have some beautiful spring weather so far this week and have spent the last two nights playing outside. Tonight we even had a picnic at the little table that is part of Cooper's swing set. Several times throughout dinner he said, "I love picnics!"

A few cute little things Cooper said over the weekend:
Cooper loved Amy and Danny's bed and would get all snuggled in with the pillows and blankets. Guess he didn't want to be comfy all alone. "Mommy snuggle? Auntie snuggle?"
"Uncle Danny dance?" Uncle Danny does not really share Cooper's love for dancing, but Cooper was determined to get him to join in on a few dance parties.
We had a little birthday party for Amy with some of their friends on Friday. Cooper sat on Auntie's lap while she was presented with her birthday cake and candles by Dax and Marin. Cooper quietly sang "Happy Birthday Auntie."
While enjoying the delicious cake the next day Cooper said, "I love birthday cake!"

The pictures are of Cooper and Jennon on the airplane, Cooper having snack at the park in Denver, Auntie and I with our pregnant bellies (Amy 24 weeks and Beth almost 20) and our family picnic dinner.
More pics to come soon!
Beth
