Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving! We have so much to be thankful for and had a wonderful time celebrating.
Cooper had fun watching the Macy's parade with Gumpa and reading LOTS of books with Nana. Cooper has become quite the dancing machine! The picture above his him all hot and sweaty from a dance party in his toy room on Wednesday night.
We went to Ankeny on Saturday and celebrated with the Caruth's. Cooper had so much fun playing with Owen and Gavin. They were all so cute together. Cooper started the "jump on bed," trend at Grandma and Grandpa Caruth's as well. The little guys would stand right against the bed kind of jumping in place with these huge smiles on their faces asking, "jump on bed, jump on bed!" Connect Four was also a big hit over the weekend. Of course the little ones have no clue how to play but they really liked dropping the pieces in!
We put the Christmas tree up on Thanksgiving night. We couldn't wait to see the look on Cooper's face when he saw it on Friday morning. He LOVES it! Loves the ornaments, lights, ribbon, everything!
Looking forward to all the festivities this holiday season will bring.
Happy Holidays!
Beth

New Adventures

Just a few fun facts and some new pics to share from the last few weeks:
Now every time Cooper sees a star he starts to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
He loves counting to three. He sounds so cute when he says two but he loves three the best
He also loves his new football and playing catch with Jennon. He runs the ball over to Jennon, gives it a little throw, and then when Jennon yells, "ready, set, go!" he takes off running in the opposite direction. Jennon throws it and Cooper just giggles, running to catch the ball wherever it landed.
Thanks to Gumpa Mike, Cooper now often requests to go into the spare bedroom downstairs to "jump on bed!" After jumping for awhile he lays down on the bed and pretends he is snoring.
A few weekends ago Cooper attended his first ISU tailgate with sweet little Maddie Krager. Definitely a different experience than when we tailgated in college, but we all had a great time.
We ended up getting quite a bit of snow last weekend and Cooper is NOT a fan of winter attire. He absolutely hates his snow boots, snow pants and mittens, but loved Jennon pulling him around on his sled which Cooper kept calling his "boat."

Take care,
Beth

Happy Halloween!

Our little monkey had a great Halloween weekend! We were able to spend Saturday at two costume birthday parties for Will Springer and Maddie Krager. Cooper loved seeing all of his little buddies dressed up! Cooper also loved watching Jennon carve the pumpkin. He just kept smiling and saying, "Pumpkin! Pumpkin!"
Enjoy the pics!
