A few cute stories

Cooper had a couple of really cute moments yesterday that I wanted to make sure and get down before I forgot them. He had just woken up from his nap and we were sitting next to each other on the couch so he could have his snack of cheerios before we went outside to play. I asked him if we should have Baby Brother hold the bowl, yes my stomach is big enough to hold a bowl of food ; ) Cooper smiled, then took a cheerio up to my stomach and said, "Here Baby Brother!"
Later that day when we were in the backyard playing Cooper climbed into one of the adirondack chairs, put his hands behind his head, crossed his little legs and said, "Mommy, this is the life." I couldn't agree with him more. I know I say this often, but I just feel so blessed each and every day to have this amazing little person in our lives. Not a day goes by that he doesn't warm our hearts and bring a smile to our faces.
So, the last month has really flown by. Cooper just wrapped up swimming lessons and really did an amazing job. He is so much more comfortable in the water, and has mastered the back float.
Cooper took his first, and definitely not last, trip to Dairy Queen on Saturday night after dinner. He placed his own order, and LOVED his cone. Not that we were at all surprised, but it was really cute to watch him just gobble it up. Starting to get ready for his 2 year birthday party. I can't believe our little guy is almost 2!
My pregnancy is still going well. I'm now 29 weeks and into my third trimester. Feeling good, sleeping better, and really hoping for a summer that isn't too hot! My Dr said she feels pretty confident I won't go past my due date and into September, so that made me feel a little better. Last week we had a day that was up to 103 which made this pregnant mama a little nervous about the months ahead!
