Happy New Year party at the Caruth's!
Coop and Maddie's little "midnight" smooch. On the cheek!!
Lots of pretend play has been taking place to get through the cold winter days. We're all kind of over playing outside once Feb roles around.
Chef Boy R D at it again. This little guy loves to help around the house. He loves to bake, unload the dishwasher and has started helping with laundry!
Cooper and Maddie took ski lessons at Highland. They did amazing and had so much fun!
Kaki and I decided to take a few lessons too so we could spend a little more time with the kids practicing on their lesson days.
Big thumbs up after Cooper successfully went up on the chairlift for the very first time. He did fantastic, so proud of him!
Snowman #1 built at the school hill where we often go sledding.
The boys reaction after news that Snowman #1 lost his head.
Snowman #2 for the day. Safe in our own backyard ;)
Drew was so thoughtful to sample the frosting for Daddy's birthday cake.
Just hanging out in a tree
Welcome to the world Jack Daniel Chupp!!!
The gang is all here! Love these little buddies!
Drew's first trip to the dentist, no cavities!
Clearly very nervous and stressed at his appointment.
Field Trip to Stages Theater to see Goodnight Moon.
Drew kept his sweet little hand on my lap during the bus ride. Melt my heart. So thankful I am able to have these experiences with them.
Field Trip #2! I must admit, I enjoyed the show more the second time around ;)
The face of someone very sad Gumpa is leaving.
Drew has decided he no longer needs to nap, so this is often what the boys room looks like after "quiet time." And Drew is usually wearing swim gear.
I was in his room for a solid 2 minutes before he noticed me. Drew was in very deep conversation with Soccer Bunny and Baby Bob.
Gumpa, Drew and William having fun on the big slides at the Tree House.
And two sweet stories that I don't want to forget. The other night at dinner Drew was kind of whiney, not happy with anything, so I said we were going to go around the table and say what we love about each other. Jennon finished telling me what he loved most about me and Cooper put his sweet little hand over his mouth and loudly whispered to Jennon, "You forgot to tell Mommy that she is pretty!" Then he blushed, smiled and giggled. Such a sweetheart!
Drew and Cooper share a room. In an attempt to keep them in bed we tell them they can read books until the fall asleep. Drew uses a flashlight for his reading time. The other night Cooper came downstairs, unable to fall asleep. As I was taking him back upstairs he said to me, "Mom, Drew is already asleep. I turned off his flashlight, tucked him in, gave him a kiss on the cheek and a little pat on the back." Thank you Lord for blessing our lives with these amazing little men and their thoughtful hearts!
