24 Weeks

We just got back from a family vacation in Newport Beach, CA.  It felt so great to be in the sunshine and spend time with the fam.  Auntie Amy was able to feel the baby move a few times so that was fun.  

On Friday I had another Dr. appointment.  I seem to be measuring right on track and the heartbeat was going strong at 144. 

Some of the furniture for the nursery got delivered tonight so we now have the armoire and the dresser/changing table.  The crib should be here in a few weeks so we are well on our way.  The belly is definitely growing so will post a new pic in a few weeks.

20 Weeks

Well, we had another good visit with the doctor today.  We had a very in depth ultrasound where they took all of the baby's measurements.  I could spend all day watching our little one move around in there.  It was a bit modest and often had its legs crossed and face covered.  Seeing the little tiny heart beating is always my favorite part.  Sounds like the little one will have long legs like Daddy ;)  The baby currently weighs 13 oz and has a heart rate of 144.  Although the technician was able to tell us what the gender is we decided to keep it a surprise.  

I'm still feeling really good and find maternity pants quite comfortable ;)  We'll post another belly pic in a few weeks.
