We have had a busy few weeks around our house. We are in the middle of remodeling the main level of the house so life in general has been a bit out of the ordinary for us. So far the hard wood floors are in so we are waiting on the cabinet guys and electrician to start their work in the kitchen.
We had a nice Mother's Day weekend full of lots of landscaping outside thanks to my mom and Jennon, a tasty breakfast at Yum, several trips to the park and a great meal at Nana and Gumpa's. I found the "I Love Nana," t-shirts at Old Navy so the boys surprised Nana wearing them that night when we came over. I feel so blessed to have these to sweet boys call me Mommy. Speaking of calling me Mommy, Drew is really getting the hang of it and calls out for me quite often! Little buddy is actually 9 months old today. We have his check up next week so I will post his pictures and stats at that time.
Cooper had 2 year old class ECFE graduation on Friday. We both had AMAZING teachers this year, learned a lot, and had so much fun. The kids made their own graduation hats to wear for the ceremony. Cooper had so much fun walking in front of everyone across the little bridge that once everyone had their turn and received their certificate he asked if he could go again!
We gave Cooper his birthday gift early, a new bike, so he could enjoy for most of the summer. With Cooper getting a new bike Drew now gets to use Coop's old one. It actually converts into several different kinds so even though he is still really little he can somewhat feel like he is driving around. He seems to think he is pretty hot stuff and such a big boy when cruising around the neighborhood.
We are loving the warm weather and finally got the water table out. The boys had so much fun playing there together. Coop got some good sprinkler time in on Saturday while Drew was taking his morning nap. I'm hoping that is something he enjoys all summer long!
We have a fun-filled weekend ahead with a visit from Grandpa Carroll and Grandma Cyndie and two birthday parties!
Take care,
Beth
