The Great Snowstorm of 2010!

Holy snowstorm! The weather forecasters were actually right for a change, and Minneapolis really did get the predicted 12-20 inches of snow this weekend! We ended up getting around 15 inches at our house. Needless to say we spent Friday night and all of Saturday snuggled at home. Jennon used the snowblower and shoveled three times and one of our neighbors came over and plowed our driveway once. We had to get a little creative to keep Cooper entertained all day. I think Jennon and I had more fun with the construction paper hats than Cooper, but he had a great time finger painting. We read lots of books, jumped on the bed, admired Jennon's Twins bobble heads, and Cooper probably had the longest bath of his life! Although the temperature was never above 10 degrees on Sunday we did venture out to the Eden Prairie Mall in the morning. It was so nice to get out of the house! Cooper had fun playing at the Playland and we ended up getting a lot of our Christmas shopping done. All in all, a really fun weekend at home. Also very safe to say we will have a white Christmas this year!
Happy Holidays!
