Christmas, New Years and 6 months old!

Obviously behind in posting; it has been a busy few weeks. Cooper had a wonderful first Christmas. We had a great time with our families in Iowa City and Ankeny. Cooper is having a great time playing with his new toys and reading his new books. Above is a picture of Cooper with his Great Grandpa Rusty. He was sharing with Cooper that he used to suck his thumb too ; )
We spent new years with great friends watching the Cyclones beat the Gophers. Cooper actually rang in the new year with us by being awake at midnight; quite the party animal ; )
Cooper was able to spend some quality time with his Aunts last week due to daycare closing at the last minute. Monday he had photo shoots and cuddle time with Auntie Amy, and Tuesday was foot massages and play time with his cousins and Aunt Kelly.
Cooper celebrated his half birthday today by bringing cupcakes to his friends at daycare. I can't believe how old it sounds to say Cooper is now six months old. He is doing a great job eating and I think sweet potatoes are his veggie of choice. He is full of smiles and giggles often, especially when we're having family dance party in the kitchen. Cooper will have his first swimming lesson on Thursday and I can't wait! His 6 month check up is Friday so I'll try and remember to post his new stats.
Stay warm!

Beth, Jennon and Cooper

  1. The boys loved sweet potatoes too or any variation of them (sweet potatoes and corn, sweet potatoes and apple.....). Just wait, Cooper's skin and little nose will turn orange from eating so many sweet potatoes. Can't believe he's 6 months already. What a doll!
