Easter 2014

The amazing Rusty Staples passed away this year on Good Friday.  He did not suffer and it all happened very quickly.  We can take comfort in knowing that he is in a better place, and that he knew how loved he was by so many.  He was one of a kind and will always have a special place in our hearts.  My favorite picture of Rusty is when Cooper was a baby.  Rusty was holding Cooper on his lap and he was sucking his thumb.  Rusty's hand was around Cooper's and he was telling him that he sucked his thumb when he was little too.  Even with the sadness we all felt, Grandma Cyndie and Grandpa Carroll did a great job celebrating Easter with the boys by decorating eggs and having an Easter Egg hunt in the yard.  We spent a nice Easter Sunday celebrating with the Cooper family after church.

 The boys had so much fun at Rusty and Donna's house.  Most of the day was spent trying to catch snakes out back.
