Cooper is 14 months old today! His new favorite activities are playing legos and climbing the stairs. He recently learned how to go down the stairs on his tummy. He will now shout out, "weeee!" as he goes down. He had a little run in, literally, with the magazine rack yesterday. Has a pretty good bonk on the middle of his forehead. Everyone keeps telling me this will be the first of many.
We definitely need to start watching what we say around the little guy, he has started repeating a lot of what we say. He now calls Gus, "Gus No!" With a little finger point at Gus for effect. He obviously hears those words coming out of my mouth quite often. He is getting really good at recognizing animals in his books and saying the sounds they make. At times he will make the sound of an elephant and raise his little arm up in the air like a trunk, so cute!
Although we had a great summer I think we are all ready for fall and the perfect weather it brings.
